This an opportunity to pick up a nice ORRI interest in Gonzales County Texas. This single well is producing a very solid royalty income of $2,650/month. This well has been producing for around 4.5 years now so we are past most of the flush production on this well.
The size of the unit is 750.0 net mineral acres so there is substantial upside. If additional horizontal oil and gas wells are drilled these mineral rights will be worth substantially more. There are currently no active permits to drill more oil and gas wells on this acreage, but the operator has told the seller they plan to drill more in the next 4 or 5 years.
The value of these mineral rights is based on the current royalty income as well as the potential upside on the acreage.
The seller is willing to entertain offers at $110,000 or better. Based on other offers they have received, you will need to be in this ballpark or higher with bids.
