Eric and his staff at Texas Royalty Brokers were amazingly helpful! Between finding the value of my minerals, finding buyers, and handling the contracts. I couldn’t imagine dealing with the processes without them.

My experience with Tx Royalty Brokers was excellent. They basically did all the work as promoting and marketing my asset. I ended up getting what I wanted – my net payout was a multiple of over 66 months of my present monthly royalty payments.

I would highly recommended Eric and Emily to anyone who is interesting in marketing their mineral or royalty interests.

The owner of these mineral rights has 30.39 net royalty acres in Ward County Texas for sale.  This ownership sits relatively close to the Winkler county line, and there is permit and rig activity all over this area.

There are 3 older horizontal wells drilled around 2010 that produce $760/month on average.  In addition, there are currently 2 wells already drilled on this acreage in DUC status.  These wells are operated by Mewbourne Oil Company.  There is great upside in this acreage and it’s in a great location.

Important:  Please note that the DUC wells are allocation wells.  The plat maps seem to show the entire section of 193 included.

This ownership is currently held in the name of Alice Jane McCallister, who is now deceased.  Her daughter, Lisa Adams, is the executor of the Will and handling this sale.  We have a copy of the Will, letter of testamentary, and a copy of the death certificate upon request.  The seller requested we not post those publicly.

Per the seller, Alice Jane McCallister inherited the mineral rights from Lenox and Helen Whitaker (her parents) and then also inherited some from “Aunt Bonnie” who gave some to her parents and some to Bill.

You will note in the listing files that we include a lot of information related to Bill Whitaker.  Bill Whitaker was Alice McCallister’s Cousin.  He has an identical ownership, but he is also deceased.  It is our understanding that Bill and Alice inherited all of their interest from other family members, but are not sure of the exact chain of ownership.  Oxy does have Alice in pay status on .005803.   This is the interest being sold.  Title will need to confirm the ownership.

Note:  We did find an old lease that Bill Whitaker signed.   We do not have a copy of any lease that Alice signed, but it’s very possible they signed the same lease agreement so we included it here for reference.

All bids should be based upon 30.29 net royalty acres.   Adjustments will be allowed on this listing on a per NRA basis, up to 25% of the amount represented.

The seller would like to start the bidding at $600,000 for these mineral rights.
